Foreign Language Services Simulation, LLC. (FLSS) is currently seeking Pashto speakers/interpreters to support a military exercise. These Role Players are essential to realism and interaction during a military training exercise.

 

Location

 

· In and around Fort Lewis, WA (Tacoma)

 

Workdays

 

· June 25 – July 1st

 

· Travel days June 24 and July 2nd

 

Interpreter/ Role Player Qualifications

 

· Must be a U.S. Citizen to qualify for this job

 

· Must pass a background check

 

· All Interpreters shall be proficient in English and Pashto

 

· Male interpreters required between the ages of 18 through 35 years old

 

· All Interpreters shall be in excellent physical condition

 

· All Interpreters shall expect to perform similar physical duties as Soldiers

 

· All Interpreters shall have cultural knowledge of the exercise target region

 

· All Interpreters shall be proficient in identified language to a level equal to or greater than the 3+/3+ standards required of the Defense Language Institute (DLI)

 

· All role player are willing and comfortable working around muzzled military working dogs

 

· All role players willing to be transported by military aircraft as required

 

· Able and willing to work outside for extended periods of time in adverse weather conditions as required

 

· All Male and Female Role Players shall have cultural knowledge of the exercise target region and be excellent physical condition

 

· Males will be ages 18 or older, Female Role Players required ages ranging from 21 through 55

 

· All Male and Female Role Players shall be proficient in Pashto to a level equal to or greater than the 2+/2+ standards required of the Defense Language Institute (DLI)

 

· Role Players shall be dressed in typical, regional attire

 

· All Male role players shall be able to and required to perform OPFOR duties and know how to operate a Blank firing AK-47

Compensation

 

This is a 1099 contract, travel cost and pay will be distributed on last day of work
