They use different filters, the coloured band on the filter is difficult.
The coloured band contains the description against which harmful media the filter protects
of course. But who would think of carrying different filters in disguise?
You have a mask and a filter suitable for the application, possibly several of them but not different ones. I have never experienced anything like this before

Yes, quite possibly. But wouldn't someone who doesn't want to get caught be careful? The purple filter cries out for recognition. Wouldn't there at least be black spray paint in that truck?
