This is fucking sad, I had an uncle who was an alcoholic and addicted to prescription pain pills, its sad what length addicts will go for the high even as far as risking death.
My uncle passed away many years ago from mixing pain killers and alcohol, but it wasn't purposeful… he did it all for the high and it killed him.
Whats fucking sadder, is my aunt died only a week earlier from fucking pancreatic cancer, my uncles death was unexpected.
Uh what? They were family, brother and sister. My grandmother had to bury 2 of her children one right after the other.
Maybe, I can't say for sure… my uncle also had sleep apnea… so mixing drugs and alcohol didn't help anything… he got drunk and high and went to sleep, and the mix of the three killed him.
He should have known better really, but drug addicts get to a point they are too far gone to save, and he was past that point even before my aunt died.
