>I watched the video. It’s about some dead guy named Eugene whose casket fell.

Wouldn’t it be great if this is set up by the FBI or DOJ that George Floyd’s not even in the casket. What if someone contacted the media and said we’re going to get this shot, and they are all excited and play along with a law enforcement sting! Wouldn’t that be hilarious

Whitmer on Attending Protest: ‘Important to Show up, to Show Solidarity’ – I Wore Mask and Didn’t Hug, High-Five, or Shake Hands

I’m sure that Excuse is gonna work since she banned people from going to other people’s homes

On Monday’s “MSNBC Live,” Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) stated that her state is reopening “incrementally” with the hope “that people know that we still have to live with the coronavirus, that we need to wear our masks. We cannot just drop our guard.” She also defended her attendance at a recent protest by stating that she wore a mask and didn’t hug, high-five, or shake hands with anyone, and “our right to demonstrate, this First Amendment right is something that, in this moment, I thought it was important to show up, to show solidarity with so many who are protesting police brutality in our country.”

Whitmer began by discussing the state taking further steps to reopen by stating that “coronavirus is still very present across the country. And that’s why, as we start to re-engage, and we’re doing an incremental engagement, always informed by some of the best public health experts in our country, we’re going to do this incrementally. But our hope is that people know that we still have to live with the coronavirus, that we need to wear our masks. We cannot just drop our guard. We need to learn the lessons from 1918, what happened in our country and what has happened in other countries around the world who have dealt with coronavirus before we did. If we drop all of the social distancing and all of the important hygiene measures we’ve learned about in these last three months, we could set ourselves up for another spike.”

Host Stephanie Ruhle then asked, “Then how do you respond to the criticism you received that you yourself didn’t practice social distancing while you participated in a peaceful protest, and did wear a mask?”

Whitmer responded, “I wore a mask the whole time. I did not greet people the way that I usually do with hugs or handshakes or high-fives. I recognize that that is how COVID-19 spreads. But our right to demonstrate, this First Amendment right is something that, in this moment, I thought it was important to show up, to show solidarity with so many who are protesting police brutality in our country. We need to take steps and we need to show unity. And where that is lacking on the national front, it is incumbent on governors to take this seriously and to set the example. So, as people protest, I’ve asked them to keep wearing the mask, to try to socially distance, but it’s not always going to be something that you can do, especially in a march like this. But refrain from the handshakes and the high-fives and the hugs that we know bring us in close proximity. And when you’re speaking, keep that mask on. It is the throwing of your voice, the projecting that actually creates the place where COVID-19 is spreading. And that’s why it’s so important that, as leaders take on these opportunities to show the leadership that’s so lacking across the country and from the national front, that we demonstrate the kind of activity that we’re asking everyone else to continue portraying.”

Suspect in Murder of California Cop Made Pro-Antifa, Anti-Police Posts on Facebook

The Chronicle added Monday that while investigators have not yet concluded that Carillo had an anti-police motive, he posted several times on Facebook in defense of Antifa and against police actions in Black Lives Matter protests:

In the 48 hours before Steven Carrillo allegedly shot a Santa Cruz County sheriff’s deputy to death in an ambush, the Air Force staff sergeant who led an elite protection unit posted a flurry of Facebook posts that were critical of police brutality and law enforcement’s responses to the Black Lives Matter protests.

“Who needs antifa to start riots when you have the police to do it for you,” Carrillo wrote Friday, sharing a post about tear gas fired at protesters in Richmond, Va.

Carrillo posted another meme before Saturday’s shootout with deputies in Ben Lomond, mocking the idea that tear gas kills the coronavirus and commenting: “Unfortunately it just kills people with asthma, RIP Sarah Grossman.” Carrillo was referring to the Ohio woman who died after getting tear gassed by police at a protest in Columbus.

Posts about reforming police and holding law enforcement officials accountable were typical for Carrillo, but he never condoned violence — on social media or in person, [an acquaintance] said. He also shared an anti-fascism screed and gun rights article.

Carillo was reportedly disarmed by a local resident who has not been named.

U.N. Silenced: Laments No Gathering of World Leaders for First Time in 75 Years

A dark and shuttered United Nations building in New York will not play host to world leaders for a week of speeches come September, as the globalist body contemplates being silent for the first time in 75 years.

A bitterly disappointed president of the U.N. General Assembly confirmed Monday the annual gathering of leaders and bureaucrats been cancelled because of the march of the global Chinese pandemic

But Tijjani Muhammad-Bande told a news conference he hopes to announce soon how the 193 heads of state and government will give their speeches, hold meetings, attend receptions and host official dinners to address world issues during the assembly’s so-called General Debate.

“World leaders cannot come to New York because they cannot come simply as individuals,” he said. “A president doesn’t travel alone, leaders don’t travel alone” and “it is impossible” to bring large delegations to New York during the pandemic.

“We cannot have them in person as we used to — what happened in the last 74 years — but it will happen” Muhammad-Bande said of the annual event.

The first meeting of the U.N. General Assembly was held in London in 1946 under the roof of the Methodist Central Hall in Westminister. The U.N. itself was founded in San Francisco on October 24, 1945.

Fifty nations gathered then in the hope they could provide a lead in colloborative diplomacy that would end all wars after the abject failure of the League of Nations to be anything other than a spectacularly funded but ultimately useless debating society:

As Breitbart News reported, last month Secretary General Antonio Guterres flagged the possibility of no meeting this year, saying he was instead looking at “various alternatives” made possible by digital technology.

This year was expected to bring an especially large number of leaders to U.N. headquarters to commemorate the founding year.

Muhammad-Bande said the 75th anniversary celebration “is not conceived as one moment” but will instead continue throughout the year.

He said a political declaration on the United Nations at 75 is also being negotiated, and world leaders will have the opportunity to mark the occasion — only not in person.

The General Assembly has never been canceled since 1945 although it has been delayed twice — after the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York, and in 1964 due to a financial crisis within the organization.

Tom Arnold: Time to Get Rifles to ‘Go Nose to Nose with Trump’s Gang of Misfit Tools

inciting a civil war against the Presidebt and his supporters is a federal crime and a hate crime, what a fucking tool, he’s already been visited by the SS at least twice

Far-left actor Tom Arnold took to Twitter over the weekend to announce it is time for “white liberal men” to borrow their dad’s hunting rifles “and go nose to nose with Trump’s gang of misfit tools” in the wake of the death of George Floyd, amid nationwide Black Lives Matter protests.

“2nd Amendment is for everyone including black men with long guns but it’s fucking time for us white liberal men to stand up for our brothers & sisters,” tweeted Arnold. “Borrow our dad’s hunting rifles & go nose to nose with Trump’s gang of misfit tools.”

“Let’s do it [Rob Reiner],” added the actor, who tagged fellow actor Rob Reiner’s Twitter account at the end of his comments.

Arnold’s tweet arrived amid nationwide protests — which have devolved into violent riots — over the death of George Floyd. The riots have included looting, buildings being set on fire, businesses destroyed, the White House going on lockdown, and people being beaten and killed.

When Arnold is not fantasizing about borrowing daddy’s rifle and confronting Trump supporters, the actor fantasizes about other acts of violence — specifically being committed against the president himself.

Last year, the Big Bully actor stated he was “looking forward to the day I’m standing over him wearing my bullet belt & safari khakis, my cartoon sized Daniel Boone buck knife in one hand his teeny tiny tail in the other.”

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot In Expletive-Filled Fight with Alderman over Black Lives Matter Riots

This is GREAT

But Lopez accused the Mayor of forsaking his district while she focused on the Loop.

“When downtown is in lockdown, our neighborhoods are next,” Lopez warned during the call, adding, “We’re seeing this destruction … We have seen where, in other cities, this has gone on for days; and we need to come up with a better plan for days, at least for the next five days, to try and stabilize our communities.”

He added that some parts of the Back of the Yards — where leftist radical Saul Alinsky worked in the 30s and 40s — and Brighton Park neighborhoods looked like a “virtual war zone” after the rioters passed through.

Lopez added that he was not blaming the Chicago Police for not being able to prevent the looting, but lamented: “Half our neighborhoods are already obliterated. It’s too late.”

Lopez also worried that the rioters would turn from the businesses to the citizens: “Once they’re done looting and rioting, and whatever’s going to happen tonight, God help us, what happens when they start going after residents? Going into the neighborhoods? Once they start trying to break down people’s doors if they think they’ve got something.”

He noted that there were “gang-bangers with AK-47s walking around right now, just waiting to settle some scores,” and they could use the chaos as cover.

When Mayor Lightfoot did not immediately respond to his points, Lopez added, “It’s not something you ignore. This is a question that I have.”

The mayor, though, was utterly dismissive of Lopez’ worries.

“I think you’re 100% full of shit, is what I think,” Lightfoot snapped.

The reply set the alderman off, and he shot back, “No offense — Fuck you, then. Who are you to tell me I’m full of shit? Maybe you should come out and see what’s going on

Lightfoot then took exception to Lopez’s intimation that she protected the Loop and left the neighborhoods unprotected.

“If you think we’re not ready, and we stood by and let the neighborhoods go up, there’s nothing intelligent that I could say to you,” Lightfoot spat at Lopez. “That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I understand you want to preen.”

“Mayor, you need to check your fucking attitude. That’s what you need to do,” Lopez exclaimed as their phone call confrontation ended
