You do know that the main role of the Police in every society is to spy on all other citizens, don't you?

AG Barr actually said in a live interview that the Police were doing just that. Spying.

Everyone who organizes anything, from a anti-coal protest, to a PTA bake sale has a Police file, and they are followed all their lives.

Normally, what they do is use a PI company to infiltrate the group, and ID and trace all of it's members. Most Police resources go towards this totally illegal spy ops. It's one of the greatest problems that society faces.

Imagine what would happen if they used those resources to fight crime, instead.
