I was thinking Barr and the DOJ presser that happened last week. They told them they were going to deploy Feds, and it worked. It also probably prevented a LOT of what was planned by Antifa. In the end, it led to dozens of arrests and a few of the good guys getting injured. I think, overall, it was considered a success.
