Religious inquisitions once burned heretics at the stake for their deviant belifs

Matrix believers, entranced by globalit corporate media, are OK with burning media heretics in social media, censured, forced vaccinations, loss of employment and even imprisonment, or just death by mob violence, as long as it is in the service of a righteous cause.

So, where is the moral distinction or any real difference between religious fanatics and corporate media believers stuck in their mental Matrix?
