To them SELF must come first or they fear they shall melt into their worst fear, that of oblivion. They are so blinded to themselves and their desperate clawing towards fame, they don't see they are now instead notorious and irrelevant.
Who, I ask, would ever want to be like them? What a sorry, pathetic existence………..then they die. They can't even claim the sort of fame their shilly and silly forebears of "golden" unholywood, long since moldering in their graves, had, as now their heirs are now a dime a dozen, cheap thrills. Here today, gone tomorrow.
The world will be nonetheless lacking with each of their passings.
