>The sky formation mapped onto LISAMI6. If the pics share the same night sky, then, would not the "stars" appear within this circled region?

One would imagine that the stars SHOULD appear with even more clarity. It was the Lisa pic angle that had the least glare. No cars. Looking half over the water. And, because of that, the Lisa pic shows the Millbank building’s lights better than any of the others in the set. In the other pics, including TrafCAM LONDON 2847, the Millbank building was almost lost in the glare from cars and street lighting.

> If it would but doesn't, then, what might account for that?

1) Different model camera?

2) Different setting on that particular camera?

3) Editing of one or more pics to delete/include star background?

Anon, have we tried to identify the bright white light(or white object spotlighted) next to Big Ben clock? When trying to get pics around Westminster Palace/Parliament I saw many pics of the towers shrouded for construction in what looked like very durable white plastic much like the building near Leicester square. Could it be that white plastic shrouding that is spotlighted? May enable us to date the contruction like we did for the Piccadilly pics?

>On average, Gatwick has 45-50 flights a night in the summer, and 18-20 a night in the winter.

I think the paucity of flights during Winter nights at Gatwick, combined with restrictions on flights after 11pm is a very good indicator that we would not see “stacks” of flights on approach to Gatwick. So, for now I’m satisfied that the Orion’s belt is not a stack of flights at Gatwick.
