When Fox News was created, the front office recruited Catherine – she initially worked for a short time as a field correspondent for the defunct Fox newsmagazine The Pulse.
Rise to Prominence
One of her first jobs as a Fox employee was to cover Hillary Clinton’s political campaign for a Senate spot in 2000, and later presidential elections as a Democratic candidate. In addition, she also reported on other notable events in the US, such as the sniper attacks in Washington D.C., the death of Princess Diana, the 9/11 terrorist attack, and attack on Benghazi. Her second child, Peter had problems at birth; he was diagnosed with failing liver disease, medically known as biliary atresia. He was put on a list for a donor’s liver, but after a couple of weeks, the doctors still couldn’t find a perfect match for young Peter, so Catherine stepped up and donated a part of her liver to Peter.
