Probably a forest preservation society of some sort. Reverse image search on custom made pic of leaf returns nothing, probably not very well known.

Can we get the raw Syrian text written down for copy/pasta please? I think searching the raw Arabic might be more productive than trying to search the English translation.

The billboard is definitely a good spot. My issue is how are we going to narrow down where a building with non-standard masonry (could we get an architect or builder to comment what that structure is made of? I presume 'marble') would be located, given pine trees are pretty common, and this might not even be Arizona (could be Alaska, for example).

There's not enough photo to work out location using time + sun azumith, and reflections aren't helping.

How do we get the exact location of a building we can't even narrow down to a given region?

Doing searches around Arizona and marble tends to throw up Phoenix Arizona, which would be a spiderweb area (Loretta Lynch, Mayo, etc). Maybe it's there? Trying to figure how to narrow it down.

I really don't want to accidentally throw out red herrings, but I was trying to eyeball the Arizona border near wildlife/forest reserves for something that might look like a candidate location, and, well… can someone tell me what the hell that symbol is in the top right that is big enough to be picked up by satellite?

Reverse image searches I had performed earlier turned up nothing, but I didn't have an image this clear.

I still think this location is in Syria. The YouTube video the person linked earlier with the additional masonry shots mentioned a village by name (in the audio), but I don't know Arabic and wouldn't know how to transcribe what Mouaz said.

We have two possibilities here - either it's in Arizona (billboard lead + botanics) or it's in Syria (masonry + marble type + Arabic + video). I suggest we research both, starting with Syria via process of elimination - if we can't find this building in the village Mouaz mentions, it's got to be in Arizona by elimination.

I would suggest we ignore the date, that stuff can be staged, modified, shuffled. We should still consider alternative botanics, but I wouldn't suggest being tied to a text date that anyone can write.
