“ Local Teens Federally Charged With Arson of St. Paul Business”
“ Two Twin Cities teens have been charged in federal court with conspiracy to commit arson related to fires set in the riots that followed the death of George Floyd in police custody on Memorial Day.
The charges against Samuel Elliot Frey of Brooklyn Park and Bailey Marie Baldus of Ramsey, both 19, were announced by US Attorney for the District of Minnesota, Erica MacDonald on Tuesday.
The two were identified after the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) released surveillance photos from a health and nutrition store in St. Paul and asked for the public’s help with identification information.
