Not all cons are stupid. Indeed, some are brilliant. After all, we've all been fooled by many things over the course of our lives.
So Bitcoin offers a conundrum. On the one hand, it seems to be brilliant. Most "believers" in the original cryptocurrency were persuaded that we needed Bitcoin because the banks and government financial controls had become evil tools of authoritarian control. That conclusion still appears to be correct. And Bitcoin does "appear" to work. So why wouldn't well-meaning patriots consider protecting their money with an "un-hackable" money controlled by you the individual, outside the reach of banks and oppressive governments. "Be your own bank," the saying goes.
But here's an over-looked problem with Bitcoin:
It still requires TRUST. While it is "trust-less" in many important respects, it still requires total trust that the protocols (the complex algorithms" that drive the currency and keep it "safe") are sound. Given that almost no one who uses Bitcoin can themselves actually verify the strength of the protocol and the machines that run it, we have to TRUST various "experts" that we are in good hands. You start to see where this is going. I've personally made the mistake one too many times that I could somehow assess the honest of somebody by watching them in a YoutTube video – only to be proven terribly wrong.
So Bitcoin isn't really trust-less, even while there is still something about it I prefer over the much more obvious authoritarian control of banks (and central banks). I do like that I can send money when I want, to I whomever I want, and keep at least some of my wealth outside of banks, in case that bank or even my government turned against me.
So what is Bitcoin's future from here? I have no idea anymore. I never did - but I am more aware of that now. Given the extent of the global con against humanity, I have to consider the possibility that Bitcoin wasn't invented for humanity's benefit, but for the cabal's. Up until very recently, I was convinced it was something that smart patriots had devised to be a "safety net" in a re-set when central banks and retail banks have to be replaced. And maybe it still is. But it seems to me now, that it's POSSIBLE at least that it's a safety net for the Cabal themselves who recognized they themselves would eventually bring the financial system crashing down in a reset and that they needed to provide some kind of alternative money system in advance. For themselves. Because in such a scenario, wouldn't THEY be the ones that controlled the protocol and the machines that run it anyhow? Even today you can't really "use Bitcoin" without going through totally corrupt exchanges.
I'll just finish by adding that every other cryptocurrency I have researched seems to be run by very corrupt individuals. Some of these people are also VERY smart, but they're still ultimately VERY compromised. It would seem there is a giant smokescreen around the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem, wherein these competing "alt-coins" all claim to be somehow superior to Bitcoin and to each other, and there's a real chance this is a giant charade of a marketplace, used to fleece well-meaning naive individuals and at the same time FUND CRIME AND TERROR. Trump has underlined that cryptocurrencies are being used for terrorist activities.
So my heart sinks. As a very strong believer in Bitcoin who has spent years researching it and advocating for it as a better currency alternative, I have to consider the possibility I was conned again. There are still things that I truly prefer in Bitcoin. In some ways it's still like a miracle money (though surely the word "miracle" and "money" should never be used in the same sentence). But in other ways, I have come to realize that the cabal isn't always "stupid" and some cons really are brilliant. I realize now that "trust" is required in any money system, even Bitcoin - that is the truth. And right now I would trust a US dollar backed by POTUS more than I trust Bitcoin. Truthfully, at this point, I just wish money was not such a critical part of the functioning of our lives because it seems like a terrible vulnerability no matter which form you choose, because it always requires that we hand over so much of our safety and security to somebody we don't really know that well. At this point, I really choose to trust in God to light the way.
