>of the 10,000,000 arrests made last year in the U.S., 17 black people shot and killed by the police were unarmed, which equates to 0.00017 percent

Nice punchline. 17. twice.

>Police are called to protect and serve, but we are handed inconsistent policies and unclear mandates. Our funding is constantly threatened and our staffing inadequate, but we are required to perform at peak performance with the highest levels of training. […] So, we respond but then we are chastised for responding.

Yeah, that's part of the big picture. Then there's the unreasonable level of surveillance to which the innocent general populace has been subjected. Also the standard operating procedure of shooting the family's pets (even those which COULD NOT be a threat to officers, such as cats and pet rabbits) when entering premises under color of law for no-knock, warrantless "searches." Don't forget the relatively recent custom of highway robbery ("civil asset forfeiture") even when the individual being relieved of his/her possessions is entirely innocent and blameless.

There are many common policing tactics which have been inculcated into police trainees by their Israeli trainers which have undermined the public's respect for law enforcers. They used to call themselves keepers of the peace; thanks to their training they began to view civilians as their enemies, and to treat them accordingly. Now we see that actions have consequences. Aggressors will always face blowback by the oppressed.

And for those of you who read the above and conclude that this author is somehow aligned with the traitors who are lawlessly running amok in a few Democrat-dominated cities, you would be mistaken. I'm just pointing out that the surveillance-supported police state, with its no-knock raids and SWAT-attired police force escalating ordinary issues, has alienated many people and ought to be dialed back quite a bit.

You don't have to be on anyone's list for your job to be offshored. All it takes is that you previously performed exemplary work for livable wages.

It's very hard and requires imagination, but imagine yourself into an income stream which is both legal and independent of any corporation.
