So, knowing the cops had been called, WTAF was he doing creeping around outdoors in the dark with a shotgun in his hands?

That's just stupid.

The cops don't know him ... they go to a different church and Creach was a dark color in the shadows at night ... just one more black man with a shotgun already in his hands.

Cops don't read minds ... but they understand shotguns just fine.

When you see the cops, you put the firearm down - if at all possible, before they see you. You step away from it. You keep your hands where they can be seen and you introduce yourself.

I'm an old white man out here in the country and that's the way things go for everybody. "I'm Pastor Creach. I own this property. I placed the call for help."

If you are carrying concealed, you announce it and tell the officer where on your body it is located. You then keep your hands the hell away from it. If you have a long gun, as soon as they arrive, you put it down.

Any man, white or black, who doesn't know to do this is just plain stupid.
