Grass fire east of Rancho Cordova (Sacramento County), California. Now an MD87 air tanker has made some drops, and has landed at nearby McLellan Airfield 25 minutes ago. Apparently reloading now. If the fire is not out, then he probably has enough daylight for another run, at least. Tail number N294EA. Call sign TNKR104. Only photo I could find shows it with the engines removed. Guess they got her flying again.
