The Sacking of Gough Whitlam and the Royal Intention Behind the Five Eyes

An important reckoning with a great historical injustice is underway in Australia which presents the world with a rare opportunity to look into the darker corners of the corridors of power too often ignored by even the most ardent truth seekers among us.

This reckoning has taken the form of a four-year, hard fought legal battle which a lone crowd funded Australian historian named Jenny Hocking waged in the highest courts of her nation to win the right on May 30, 2020 to make 211 secret letters held within Australia’s National Archives public for the first time since they were deposited in 1978.

These palace letters were written between the Queen of England (via her personal secretary) and her Governor General in Australia Sir Philip Kerr during the latter’s tenure as official Head of State during the interim of 1974-1978 and until last week’s court ruling, were intended to be kept hidden until December 8, 2037.

What makes these letters such a point of national controversy is that they contain information which will undoubtedly shed light upon the active role of the Queen herself in carrying out an act which essentially amounted to a modern coup d’état of November 11, 1975. During this sad period, Kerr made history by not only sacking the elected Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, but also revealed the scope and nature of the British Monarchy’s very real powers in our modern age.

These are bizarre god-like prerogative powers which those forces controlling today’s globally extended empire would much rather keep concealed from public view.

Gough Whitlam: An Intolerable Threat to the Empire

It is admittedly difficult for some westerners to contemplate how a white Commonwealth prime minister could suffer a coup in our modern times… are not coups usually something reserved for Asiatic, Latin American, or African revolutionary leaders?

When one looks upon a list of coups during the Cold War period, that has certainly tended to be the general rule… but like every rule, exceptions are always to be found.

By reviewing the nature of Whitlam’s political struggle, his policy reforms and greater vision for Australia, it becomes clear what sort of enemy he made and why the highest powers of the Five Eyes and Global Empire ousted him.

Judge Orders Cops To Return 1,800 lbs of Cannabis Oil And $620,000 To Cannabis Farm

Back in January, the Santa Barbara County sheriff’s office raided a legal cannabis business, Arroyo Verde Farms, and confiscated large sums of money in addition to their whole supply of products. However, months later, superior court judge Anderle ruled that the business broke no laws, and did not intend to break any laws. In the ruling, the sheriff’s office was ordered to return 1,800 pounds of cannabis oil and $620,000 in cash that was seized during the raid.

The Santa Barbara sheriff’s deputies raided the cannabis farm, and then claimed that the farm’s assets should be forfeited to them because the farm was connected to an ongoing criminal investigation. There were multiple legal cannabis companies impacted by the raid, most of whom were storing their products at the farm. All of the businesses are entirely legal and compliant with state regulations.

John Armstrong, the attorney for Procan Labs, one of the companies who lost products in the raid, called the incident a “police mistake,” and said that this ruling will set a precedent to protect cannabis businesses in the future.

“Licensed cannabis operators should not be at risk of losing their business because police mistake lawful cannabis operations for illegal black-market activities. This decision shows that our courts will side with the cannabis industry when provided evidence of good-faith efforts to comply with state regulations,” Armstrong said, according to MJBizDaily.

Due to the uncertain legal status of cannabis, businesses that operate in the industry have become civil asset forfeiture targets for police. The current laws in the United States give police extensive powers to confiscate money, property, and other assets if they suspect that wealth is somehow being used to facilitate a crime. In the past 20 years, police in the US have confiscated over $36.5 billion in assets from suspects, many of whom were never even charged with a crime.

HTS’ Self-Proclaimed Government In Greater Idlib Switches To Turkish Lira Amid Crippling Economic Crisis

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) so-called Salvation Government in Greater Idlib has abandoned Syrian Pound in favor of Turkish Lira.

In the last few days, the self-proclaimed government brought large quantities of Turkish bills and coins. The plan is to slowly replace the Syrian pound with Turkish Lira in day-to-day trade in Greater Idlib.

The Salvation Government was formed by HTS in 2017. Back then, the U.S. warned from dealing with the al-Qaeda-affiliated government. However, Turkey is apparently ignoring this warning.

In the last few months, the Syrian pound lost most of value, falling to over 2,000 for U.S. Dollar. Crippling sanctions imposed by the West, a devastating economic crisis in neighboring Lebanon and a long COVID-19 lockdown were blamed for the collapse.

On June 11, Ibrahim al-Ibrahim, General Finance Director in HTS’ government, told the al-Sham News Network that public sector employees in Greater Idlib will from now on get paid in Turkish Lira. Last May, the government converted the value of the salaries to U.S. Dollar.

“Due to the continues collapse of the Syrian Pound, and in order to achieve the desire of the employees, who don’t want to get paid in Syrian Pound, the government has started to pay salaries in Turkish Lira, which was widely welcomed by the employees,” al-Ibrahim said.

Some opposition activists hope that switching to Turkish Lira in Greater Idlib will further damage the Syrian pound, thus weaken the financial capabilities of Damascus. While this is very possible, the newly-injected Turkish currency could easily reach government-held areas.

Despite the ongoing conflict, opposition areas trade with government-held areas on a daily basis through smuggling. This means that the Syrian Pound will remain desirable as “hot cash” in Greater Idlib as well as in Turkish-occupied areas in the north and northeast.

#FluorideTrial: Experts Admit Fluoride is a Pesticide

The first week of the historic water fluoridation trial wrapped up on Friday afternoon after four days of occasionally tense testimony from expert witnesses with the Fluoride Action Network (FAN) and the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). One expert witness claimed he had been coerced into signing a statement downplaying his study which claimed fluoride is a neurotoxicant. Another witness confirmed that at least one type of fluoride is a pesticide being added to the water supply.

Attorneys with FAN argue that water fluoridation violates the 1970 Toxic Substances Control Act provisions which prohibit the “particular use” of a chemical which has been found to present an unreasonable risk to the general public. Under section 21 of the TSCA citizens are allowed to petition the EPA to regulate or ban individual chemicals.

The EPA is represented by lawyers from the Department of Justice who are presenting experts from the corporate firm Exponent Inc. The government is defending water fluoridation and seeking a dismissal of the petition by the plaintiffs. The plaintiffs in the case include: FAN, Moms Against Fluoridation, Food & Water Watch, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and the Organic Consumers Association.

FAN attorney Michael Connett called 3 witnesses throughout the week, including Howard Hu MD, Bruce Lanphear MD, Philippe Grandjean MD, and Kathleen Thiessen PhD. Connett told the court that the EPA has previously relied on the research of all of these experts in the past on other toxicants like lead and mercury. Two of these experts have been authors of key fluoride studies funded by US government agencies. Connett noted that the EPA chose to use experts from Exponent rather than their own agencies experts.

The EPA did their part to question the Fluoride Action Network’s witnesses and diminish their credibility. Dr. KathleenThiessen made a powerful admission when interviewed by FAN attorney Connett, stating that sodium fluoride is a pesticide that is being added to the water supply. However, during cross examination of Thiessen, the EPA asked if she is personal friends with the Connett family, including Paul Connett, Director of the Fluoride Action Network, and Michaell Connett, the lawyer representing FAN. Thiessen said yes she is friends with the family. The EPA pressed further, asking if she had attended meetings sponsored by FAN, whether she is on the group’s mailing list, if she has appeared in interviews on their websites, and if she helped Paul Connett with his book The Case Against Fluoride.

Large anti-racism protests continued across Australian cities despite advice from the government to avoid mass gatherings. The prime minister earlier said that protesters should be charged for violating public health orders.

Demonstrators held signs saying “Black Lives Matters” and “No Justice, No Peace,” denouncing racism and drawing attention to police violence against blacks and indigenous people. Some marched carrying Australian Aboriginal flags.

Around 7,000 showed up for a rally in Perth, with many following social distancing rules while staying meters away from each other. Hand sanitizers and more than 10,000 masks were available at the venue.

Smaller rallies and marches also took place in Darwin, Sydney, Brisbane and other cities across the country.

Demonstrations were held despite strong advice from the government and health officials to avoid large gatherings in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Prime Minister Scott Morrison previously called mass protests in the middle of the outbreak “absolutely unacceptable,” and said that protesters should be charged if they attend rallies in violation of public health orders

On Saturday, the country’s most populous state New South Wales reported its first locally-transmitted case of the coronavirus since late May, raising concerns of a second wave of infections. Australia has had a relatively small number of confirmed Covid-19 cases – 7,302 – and 102 deaths.

Rocket attack near US base in Iraq amid US-Iraq dialogue - report

The reported rocket attack also comes on the six-year anniversary of the fatwa by Iraqi Ayatollah Ali Sistani that helped create the Popular Mobilization Units to fight ISIS.

Reports on Saturday evening said a rocket had landed near Camp Taji, a large base in Iraq that has housed US-led Coalition personnel. It was unclear if it was only one rocket or where it landed, but it comes in the context of US-Iraq strategic dialogue and tensions between the US and Iran.

Pro-Iranian groups in Iraq has fired dozens of rockets bases and area where US forces are located in the last year, killing four Coalition personnel, including one contractor. The US has twice carried out airstrikes in retaliation to threats.

The reported rocket attack also comes on the six-year anniversary of the fatwa by Iraqi Ayatollah Ali Sistani which helped create the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) to fight ISIS. ISIS had taken Mosul and Iraq cities in 2014 and appeared poised to attack Baghdad.

Sistani urged Iraqis to rally and more than 100,000 signed up to fight. Many joined Shi’ite paramilitaries, some close to Iran. Iran sent advisors to help in the battle. Later the US helped create an 82-member Coalition to fight ISIS.

However there are rising tensions between Iran and the US and between the US and Iraqi-based Shi’ite militias. Kataib Hezbollah and other Iraqi groups, which are part of the PMU, have threatened the US. The US has in turn labelled some of these groups as terrorists or designated them for sanctions, linking them to the Iranian IRGC.

On Saturday Iran’s Tasnim media put out an article ostensibly commemorating the historic Fatwa by Iraqi Ayatollah Ali Sistani, but blamed the US and “Zionists” for supporting ISIS. This is the usual Iranian-regime propaganda, but it is interesting that the regime feels the need to push this conspiracy while commemorating Sistani’s historic role in fighting ISIS.

Pro-Haftar rebel official calls on Israel for support

"We never were and never will be enemies" says Abdul Salam al-Badri in interview to Makor Rishon

A top official close to Libyan General Khalifa Haftar has called on Israel for support in the war against the internationally-recognized Government of National Accord (GNA), saying the two countries have shared interests.

“We never were and never will be enemies, and we hope you will support us,” Abdul Salam al-Badri, deputy prime minister of the eastern-based government, told the Israeli newspaper Makor Rishon. “It has been only circumstance which has separated us up until this point.”

While Israel and Libya have no relations and Jerusalem has avoided any public discussion on the war, it is widely speculated to be supporting Haftar’s forces along with Egypt and the Gulf states.

Over the years there have been multiple reports of Israelis training Haftar’s forces in street warfare in territory under his control, and Israeli weapons systems have also reportedly been sent to the war-torn country.

Appealing to Israel, al-Badri said “We share a common interest: Erdogan is a terrorist. Both of us are on the same side, it would be idiotic of us to ignore that.”

Abd al-Hadi al-Hajj, foreign minister to Haftar’s interim government, told The Jerusalem’s Post’s sister publication Maariv in December that he hopes Libya could establish normal relations with Israel if the Palestinian problem was resolved.

“We support the rights of the people, including all of the rights of the Palestinian people. But we support regional peace, oppose terrorism, and fight it in Libya as well,” he told the publication while in Paris.

Though there are not many Jews left in the North African country, al-Badri played up Libya’s historic Jewish community, saying that “throughout history, we have served as a refuge for people of all faiths. We have a long history of contact with the people of Israel and the Jewish community.”
