Dig on the One America Appeal Effort…
https://oneamericaappeal.org/#faqs
[Any FINANCE ANONS out there that can dig across the 501(c)(3) records to see if the donation went out to the 4 Organization listed further down? Not my skill set and might be worth the search]
Is the One America Appeal a new fund?
No. All funds collected through the One America Appeal will go into a special account at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, to ensure 100 cents out of every dollar donated goes to hurricane recovery. All monies collected will be distributed immediately to the designated recovery funds. All donations are also tax-deductible.
So let’s look what else is there…Oh, they shut it down in 2017.
There is a link to the last Press Release (2018) but it doesn’t work…unless you take out the extra “.pdf” in the address. Now why would that link be wrong?
