The Book of Revelation is present tense to the reader. The timeline is not linear, it’s a circular, and between the beginning of the Book of Revelation and it’s ending we as individuals fall somewhere in between as we each traverse our own circuit. Not everyone manages to fully reach the end while on earth. In order to do so we must be fully replaced as certain things come forth in us while other things simultaneously pass away. But in the end everyone will get there.
Religions hijacked the Bible for monetary gain and control. There are several dozen versions of Christianity or Judaism and everyone of them has its own marketing pitch. They don’t have prophets, only profits. Religion is not a requirement, no points given for going to church. Reading the Bible is optional, I recommend it.
