Since farm tools have been improved, they're now used to foment civil unrest. They're also used to destroy neighborhoods to prevent them from being homogeneous and unified groups. This makes it much easier to steal people's freedoms since it lessens the chance that people will band together to protect themselves from gov't overreach. Lastly, they are a reliable source of Dem votes which is why the worst criminals in our Congress have their districts loaded with them.
