As much as I agree with the author, you cannot have a logical argument with illogical people. We are dealing with illogical people. They do not want a discussion. They don't want an argument. They want their way at any cost to the rest of society. This letter will resonate with those who feel the same. It may cause a few others to wake up as well and that would be a good thing. But the author will not sway the minds of their colleagues.

When the Thunderbirds did their fly by of South Texas I was able to locate the tanker (KC-10) that met up with them and from that I was able to tell neighbors where they were in NRT and get ready. Yep. But it's normally based upon something you have done, a play on your name, your looks, etc. It's not intended to be 'cool' either. That seldom happens. Even the call signs that sound cool to others really aren't to the recipient. One that I knew of was an F-16 pilot with the call sign 'Tiny'. Just a normal looking guy. Not super tall or super short. Turns out his last name was 'Dick'. What did he do to earn that from his classmates? One wonders. So 'Banzai' has a story behind it. If you meet her, buy her a beer and tell her you want to hear the story. Because technically they're only supposed to tell the story with a beer in hand.
