Dear Mr. President, As a direct descendant of George Washington's namesake and adoptive grandfather - Colonel George Eskridge - and as the daughter of a WWII Navy Veteran Survivor who served aboard the USS Gambier Bay (sunk in battle in WWII), my blood runs red, white and blue. I cannot express the profound sadness and despair I felt as I watched our great nation be taken over by enemies of the state. You, Mr. President, have brought such hope to so many.
