like an noncompetitive football game
where 1 team is dominating another
halftime through the end of the 3rd quarter many fans head for the parking lot to get ahead of the crowds
In Q parlance our team is getting it's ass kicked, the questions are:
is their enough time left in the game to score enough points?
will the remaining fans witness a home team comeback win for the ages?
with diminishing fan base can they fill the seats next game if they continue losing?
is it a real victory if a third of your fans already walked out on you for poor performance?
if after 3 quarters you sucked, why would we suspect the greatest comeback of all time, when you are so ineffective at this point in the game?
in a country that celebrates winners, is mostly losing tolerable?
and what does it say about your team that it can be divided and under perform for 3/4 of the game, but reach potential after giving up so many points (ground)?
Is a game that never ends really ever won or lost?
