Jerome Adams wears one because he has severe asthma, so he's in a high risk group, which is fine.
It's insanity to make healthy people wear masks & gloves in normal life and then not around elderly or risk group.
A sane policy would be for people to wear them ONLY when around elderly or risk group.
But I understand why he does, and for HIM, it does give HIM more freedom.
I'm healthy but required to be ridiculous quarantine for 2 weeks to appease elderly friends & relatives - otherwise no contact with them whatsoever.
It sucks.
