Thousands of ‘black trans lives matter’ protesters gathered outside of the Brooklyn museum on Sunday.

The protesters were shoulder-to-shoulder and not practicing social distancing.

Meanwhile, Governor Cuomo threatened restaurant/bar owners, police officers and party goers in Manhattan and the Hamptons who were violating the Communist ‘social distancing’ orders.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters just burned, looted and pillaged New York City, but Cuomo is threatening party goers in the Hamptons who dare violate social distancing orders.

Crooked Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr. recently announced the DA’s office will not prosecute protest-related arrests “in the interest of justice.”

But if New Yorkers dare violate social distancing orders while attending a party, they will be punished.

This is pure Marxism.

“We have received 25,000 complaints of reopening violations,” Cuomo said in a tweet. “Bars or restaurants that violate the law can lose their liquor license.”

Cuomo called out party goers in the Hamptons.

“The violation complaints are predominantly from Manhattan & the Hamptons. Lots of violations of social distancing, parties in the street, restaurants and bars ignoring laws.”

Enforce the law or there will be state action,” he said.

Seattle’s CHAZ: Retry All Non-White Violent Convicts with Non-White Jurors

Seattle, Washington’s, Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) is demanding all non-white violent convicted criminals in prison be released and retried in court by non-white jurors only.

CHAZ, formed by anarchists, Antifa members, and Black Lives Matter activists, has released a list of demands that seeks to defund the Seattle Police Department and use the money to retry non-white convicts, provide unrestricted voting rights to inmates, and expunge the records of convicted marijuana traffickers.

“We demand a retrial of all People in Color currently serving a prison sentence for violent crime, by a jury of their peers in their community,” CHAZ organizers write.

Such a policy would mean that all non-white violent convicted criminals have their existing convictions and sentences expunged and be given new trials with non-white only jurors.

Another CHAZ demand asks that “prisoners currently serving time be given the full and unrestricted right to vote, and for Washington State to pass legislation specifically breaking from Federal law that prevents felons from being able to vote.”

The policy would mean that close to 40,000 inmates serving sentences in local jails, state prisons, and federal prisons in Washington state would be granted the right to vote in all local, state, and federal elections.

CHAZ organizers also want those convicted of “marijuana-related” and resisting arrest offenses to have their records expunged. This includes expunging the records of marijuana traffickers, some of whom may have connections of the Mexican drug cartels.

The list of demands mimics the criminal justice reform movement’s efforts to reduce incarceration through jailbreak policies that decriminalize a number of crimes and end cash bail for nonviolent and violent crimes.

Slovenia: Foreign Antifa agents provoke violence at anti-government protest

Foreign Antifa agents provoked violence at an anti-government protest in Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana, on Friday. While such protests are nothing new in Slovenia, this is the first time that international Antifa was involved, and many Slovenes are alarmed.

Slovenia’s Left has been holding protests regularly in the capital since the Right-wing populist government of Prime Minister Janez Janša came to office in March, often in violation of the country’s Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown measures. The protesters have a litany of complaints against the new government, including what they allege are the government’s attempts to increase police powers, the erosion of democracy and freedom of the press, anti-environmental measures, the failure of their pandemic response, and inciting hatred against migrants.

Another protest was held in Ljubljana on Friday evening, and an estimated 5,000 demonstrators turned up at the event, according to an Associated Press report. This one saw more violence than previous demonstrations, and seven people were briefly detained by police when they tried to destroy a security fence that surrounds the country’s Parliament building. Those involved in the attack were fined. Some police officers were also assaulted by extremists.

Earlier in the day, a few dozen protesters assembled in front of the US Embassy as well in solidarity with ongoing riots in the United States stemming from the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while being taken into police custody in Minneapolis nearly three weeks ago.

Friday’s demonstrations were different, however, in that Antifa extremists from other countries were present and looking to cause trouble for the authorities by stoking violence. Masked extremists dressed in black and sporting common international Antifa logos stood in the forefront of the demonstration, and in some cases called for organised violence, according to a report by Slovenia’s Nova24TV. They chanted “Beware of fascists!” and carried a banner which read, “Borderless solidarity, against repression, militarism, and fascism” — common slogans of Antifa groups in Western Europe and the US.

Spike Lee defends Woody Allen from ‘cancel culture,’ then backtracks & attacks his ‘friend’

American director Spike Lee recently defended Woody Allen from “cancel culture,” calling the accused sex abuser a “friend of mine.” Now he’s about-turned, accusing Allen of doing “real damage.”

In an interview with New York’s WOR radio on Friday, Lee took some time off from promoting his new movie ‘Da 5 Bloods’ to stick up for Allen, a man chased out of the public eye long before ‘cancel culture’ became a term.

“Woody Allen is a great, great filmmaker and this cancel thing is not just Woody,” Lee said. “Woody’s a friend of mine, a fellow Knicks fan, and I know he’s going through it right now.”

However, a backlash ensued online, and just one day later, Lee changed his tune. “I Deeply Apologize,” he tweeted on Saturday. “My Words Were WRONG. I Do Not And Will Not Tolerate Sexual Harassment, Assault Or Violence. Such Treatment Causes Real Damage That Can't Be Minimized.”

Allen is somewhat of a Hollywood pariah. Lauded for his award-winning works, including ‘Annie Hall’, ‘Mighty Aphrodite’ and ‘Radio Days’, Allen has also been accused of sexually abusing his daughter – Dylan Farrow – when she was a child. Farrow spoke out against her father in the early 1990s, and the accusations were once again thrown into the spotlight in recent years, with the emergence of the #MeToo movement.

Ronan Farrow, one of the instigators of #MeToo and Allen’s son, has sided with his sister in condemning Allen’s “strange behavior around her.”

No actual abuse was ever proven, but Allen’s name has forever been tarnished. Marrying and fathering children with Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn didn’t help his case.

Daughter of Hank Williams Jr., Katherine, Dead at 27

The daughter of country music legend Hank Williams Jr. died in a one-vehicle crash Saturday night near Paris, Tennessee.

WSMV reported: Katherine Williams-Dunning, 27, the daughter of Country Music legend Hank Williams, Jr., was driving a 2007 Chevy Tahoe southbound on U.S. Highway 79, towing a boat when it crossed the dividing median of the highway and began a rollover sequence.

The vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes and came to a stop on the east shoulder of the roadway.

Williams-Dunning was pronounced dead a short time later.

29-year-old Tyler J. Dunning, her husband, was taken to a hospital via helicopter. The extent of his injuries were not immediately known.

Williams-Dunning’s sister, Holly wrote on Instagram: “I have no words. On Friday morning I talked the family into taking this picture and had no idea it would be our last together with my precious little sister Katie,” the caption read. “We all went to my great aunts funeral on Thursday whom we all loved dearly, and now are faced with another one. ALL we need is prayers. My daddy. My little brother. Katie’s husband (he is awake and responding don’t know injury extent yet). My niece and nephew. Her Mama. The Dunning family. All of us. So. Many. Prayers. Jesus is close. Thank you all.”

The investigation into the crash is being led by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Civil rights attorney Leo Terrell explains why he stopped drinking the 'Democratic kool-aid'

During an appearance on Fox News on Friday, network host Sean Hannity noted that Republicans were responsible for the Emancipation Proclamation, the party supported desegregation through the landmark Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education — which overturned the legal doctrine of "separate but equal" — and that Republicans helped then-President Lyndon Johnson pass the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s.

"What you see is a lot of Democrats they were all against that," Hannity proclaimed.

The history that Hannity outlined, along with the fact that Democrats often label the Republican Party as the party of racism, is why Terrell stopped supporting the Democratic Party's agenda, the civil rights attorney said.

"This is why I stopped drinking the Democrat Kool-Aid. I can't take this hypocrisy anymore. It's ridiculous," Terrell explained.

"[Former U.S. senator from Georgia] Richard Russell from the south was against integration. He was opposed to anti-lynching bills. That's what bothers me about this whole thing, that Democrats, just because of the D in their name, they could be a racist," Terrell added.

Terrell then tore into Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, who infamously said last month that black voters who do not vote for him are not actually black.

"That statement by Joe Biden is so offensive and then you get Spike Lee out there and say, 'It's okay.' That's offensive. If any Republican said the same thing they would be in trouble, big trouble," Terrell said.

"Joe Biden gave us the crime bill in 1994. President Trump gave us the First Step," he continued. "The bottom line is this: I don't need the Democrats to insult me or try to placate me with African garb, Nancy Pelosi. Pass some laws. Pass some reforms. Show me something other than some kind of condescending act just because you're a Democrat. That doesn't follow anymore."

Later, Terrell said, "I'm asking every Democrat, do your research … you have to leave the Democratic Party — get out of there!"

NBA Gives Green Light to Cannabis Use By Players, Won’t Test Athletes for Drugs: Report

It’s high time for change, according to the NBA.

In a clear sign that it’s high time for change, the National Basketball Association and its players union have come to an agreement that athletes will be tested for performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) when the NBA restarts its pandemic interrupted season at Disney World, but not recreational drugs such as cannabis.

The proposal, which was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic, should help reassure those who feared that players would be taking PEDs with impunity to counteract the rust they generated over several months without the sport. In an unprecedented move, the NBA put its season on pause for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the league and the union are still working out the health and safety protocols for the shortened “bubble” season that will finish off the year.

At the moment, the NBA appears uninterested in aggressively enforcing anti-recreational drug policies against its athletes. On Monday, the league reinstated Charlotte Hornets guard Malik Monk following his indefinite suspension over violations of the league’s drug policy, reports the Charlotte Observer. Sports analysts have interpreted the move as a clear sign that the NBA, which is likely suffering losses due to the suspension of packed arenas filled with paying, already has its hands full testing for PEDs and is hardly inclined to pour resources into testing athletes for recreational drugs.

The league’s relaxed drug policy for the looming restart also coincides with an announcement by Chicago-based cannabis and medical marijuana company Cresco Labs that it had added National Basketball Players Association Executive Director Michele Roberts to its board. Roberts, a seasoned attorney and former adjunct faculty member at Harvard Law School, has headed the NBA players’ union since 2014.

In 2018, Roberts said that the NBPA was “exploring” medical exemptions for athletes to use medical cannabis but federal law formed a barrier against their ability to partake of the plant. At the time, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions – who once infamously said “good people don’t smoke marijuana” – was on the warpath against cannabis, raising fears that players would face arrest at the hands of what she called a “crazed” AG.

PC Brigade Marches Towards A Life of Hard Knocks

One of my favorite low-budget films from the 1980s was John Carpenter’s Escape from New York — an urban nightmare, where the imperial US is perpetually at war and the degeneracy of society results in a whole city being turned into a maximum security purgatory. Presumably the backstory involved protests that got out of control and which led to the annexation of New York’s Manhattan Island. There is a vicarious pleasure in watching characters navigating hellish dystopias — but the footage from the past week of American cities being trashed was gut wrenching.

My exposure to these events came through social media and took the form of snippets of footage and photos and two-sentence commentaries. I didn’t look at a newspaper or switch on the TV, because I feel there would be no surprises in their coverage. What quickly became apparent was the incredulity and panic among some civilian commentators when droves of people were shown invading shops and overwhelming the police presence on the ground. You could almost hear the heavy breathing and thumping hearts as footage filed in to Twitter from cities around the country. It seemed like only a thin blue line stood between the baying mob and the White House as darkness descended on Washington on the first night.

Some of those scenes of savagery and wanton destruction brought me back to my childhood, and the things I witnessed on the alleyways of downtown Montreal or later around the nightclubs of inner Glasgow, which in the late 90s had a problem with casual violent crime. The local media incessantly showed CCTV footage of young people being kicked unconscious and the physical aftermath of knife attacks. It was either a case of reporters not being able to keep up with the epidemic of violence or they were creating a self-fulfilling prophecy, by running the tally of recorded knife attacks in red ink on newspaper front pages, where formally the stock indices would have sat. The police response was to “put an officer on every street corner.” This policy either worked or the media got tired of flogging the same story, but the violence soon evaporated from the collective consciousness.

While attending college, I lived close to the High Court in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Some of the people I would pass standing around waiting for their time before the judge looked like they had been dropped off by central casting for Day of the Dead. Their features had not formed in the womb, due to malnutrition or drug use by their mothers, so that their faces seemed to drip towards the ground, and the frustration and anger at being born with this disadvantage glared through their eyes. Any one of these people could have been very intelligent and talented but their appearance exiled them to the peripheral housing schemes where whole generations would grow up having never left the conurbation or city. Polite society didn’t even get a chance to shun them — they very often shunned themselves. At times I would get on the wrong bus, and end up at the terminus in some brutalist estate (those architectural monstrosities must have been designed by devils); did I get mugged or intimidated? Not really — or not when you might expect it, at least. More often a friendly local would ensure that I found my way back safely and would involve anyone else to hand, prioritizing my welfare over their own business.

When you grow up in rough cities you face from an early age the quandary of how to deal with fear — the prospect of being beaten up or mocked by the thug element. A few people have such a serene consciousness that trouble never alights at their door, but for the rest of us it becomes a conscious or unconscious decision to be a runner or a fighter. Most people chose the former, because to opt for the later means committing to go all the way with any attacker — and also signing up for martial arts classes or the marines.

Ethics controversy rattles Hickenlooper's Senate bid

An ethics controversy is rattling former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper’s (D) closely watched Senate bid as he prepares to face off against a progressive primary opponent later this month.

The impact of the controversy became apparent this week after back-to-back debates between Hickenlooper and Andrew Romanoff, a liberal former state representative.

Hickenlooper found himself playing defense for much of those debates,struggling to explain an ethics commission ruling that found that he had twice violated the state’s ban on public officials accepting gifts as governor.

The former governor and 2020 presidential contender is still the favorite to win the June 30 primary to take on vulnerable Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) in November. But the ethics controversy has provided new fodder for both Romanoff and Republicans, who are desperate to hold on to Gardner’s seat.

“Look, John Hickenlooper just wrote the Republicans’ ad against him twice now,” Romanoff said in the debate with Hickenlooper on Tuesday. “The truth is that John Hickenlooper represents a threat that we cannot afford.”

Romanoff has called on Hickenlooper to drop out of the Senate race.

The ethics controversy stems from a complaint filed by a conservative group that he had violated on multiple occasions a state rule that bans public officials or their family members from accepting gifts, travel, entertainment or any other thing of value if it exceeds a certain monetary limit.

The Colorado state ethics commission ruled last week that Hickenlooper had violated that ban twice in 2018 when he accepted a flight to Connecticut on a private jet and a limousine ride while attending the Bilderberg meetings in Italy.

On top of those violations, the ethics commission also voted unanimously this month to hold Hickenlooper in contempt after he defied a subpoena requiring him to testify at a virtual hearing about the gift violations. Hickenlooper argued that the hearing’s remote format — it was conducted via video due to the coronavirus pandemic — would violate his due process rights.

Hickenlooper said that he had offered multiple times to appear in person at a later date, but the commission denied those requests. He eventually went before the panel on June 5.

On US president’s birthday, Israel okays building plans for ‘Trump Heights’

Settlements Minister Tzipi Hotovely says Golan Heights village, which honors the US president’s recognition of Israeli claims to the plateau, will house 300 families

An Israeli cabinet minister on Sunday said the government approved plans to build a new village on the Golan Heights named after US President Donald Trump.

Settlements Minister Tzipi Hotovely wrote on Facebook that her ministry will start preparations for Ramat Trump — Hebrew for “Trump Heights” — to house 300 families.

Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 Six Day War and annexed it in 1981, a move not recognized by most of the international community.

But Trump signed an executive order recognizing the strategic mountainous plateau as Israeli territory in March 2019. The move came during a visit to Washington by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just weeks before Israel’s April election. The decision, just one of several diplomatic moves benefiting Israel, was widely applauded in Jerusalem.

The government’s approval of the plan, which according to Hebrew-language media will involve earmarking NIS 8 million ($2.3 million) for developing the town, advances a project announced by Netanyahu last year with great pomp and fanfare. Sunday’s announcement coincided with Trump’s birthday, although it was unclear if it was connected.

Netanyahu recognized Trump’s birthday in a tweet lauding the US president as “an INCREDIBLE friend to Israel.”
