I knew a guy whose father was a police officer - in an moderately affluent area of new england. This young thuggy guy with multiple drunk driving incidents had accidents alone and with other cars or pulled over drunk DWI at least 7 or 8 times that I know of.

EVERY TIME. He was driven home by an officer . NO charges were ever filed, even when it involved another vehicle it would just be nothing. He would just say "my dad is _" and it was a free get outta jail go home. He knew this was a given and never curbed his behavior (no moral lesson learned) = menace to society

THIS is what people do not like about our "policing"

The nepotism and arbitrary enforcement

Some Animals Do Drugs Without Being Subject To Arrest More Than Other Animals

It is about class more than race - EQuality begins with the wallet and WHO, you know?

The rich do more drugs and drive drunk more often than average people

there is a difference between high quality drugs/booze and lowest quality drugs/booze

also a big difference in knowledge of the law. Rich people are not dragged from their mercedes because REVENUE IS AT STAKE.Policing is a game if you can afford it, you win.

(remember the Whitney Houston quote - "I make too much money to smoke crack!" as in I do top quality cocaine)

Like any position of stature, anyone who is a lesser quality human will take advantage of everything they are afforded. But the resentment builds every single time this happens amongst we the people. Sorry we do not forget that shit.

We can forgive, but we do not forget.
