Dear Q and Q+, on 4-10-20's 74th birthday, may it be blessed,
Remember this (pic related)?
An army needs something to fight for, not just against, doesn't it? At the end of Act II, there's always a speech. The speech that reminds the troops what they're fighting for. Perhaps in this moment, when the "how" is so dark, the why has become somewhat dimmed. You once said a beautiful brave new world lies ahead. So if we're not fighting to save a lost America, perhaps a glimpse of something - anything really - that you have planned might be helpful. Not the justice, not the warnings, not the irredeemable stupidity of so many of our neighbors. What do you see, that you want us to see? The best leaders show you a vision of the possible. Where there is no vision, the people perish. In these dark hours, as Act II draws to a close, perhaps you could open your looking glass just a bit, and give us a glimpse of the light.
Ever your faithful,
Anon
PS - Happiest of Birthdays, Mr. President. For us all, it is fraught with meaning and significance. God bless you, sirs.
