Things haven't made sense for a long time. The doubt has been there for a long time but logical explanations were scarce. For me the watershed year was 1973. Abortion legalized. Vietnam collapse. Watergate. I'm sure now that it goes back further but that year was a major wound. At the same time I was just a kid. I was young and stupid/ignorant.
