Hong Kong’s Disneyland will reopen its doors on Thursday following nearly five months of closure, the park said Monday, in a fresh boost for a city that has largely managed to defeat the coronavirus.
Visitors will need to sign health declarations, submit to regular temperature checks and wear masks at all times unless eating, the park said in a statement on Monday.
Hong Kong authorities currently ban gatherings of more than eight people because of the virus. That ban is up for renewal on Thursday, the day Disneyland reopens.
Authorities have also used the public gathering ban as a way to refuse permission for pro-democracy protests which have bubbled up again in recent weeks and been quickly dispersed by riot police citing the emergency measures.

Bashir Hangi from UWA said, "The death of Rafiki leaves the (gorilla) group unstable and there is the possibility that it could disintegrate.
"It has no leadership at this time and it could be taken over by a wild silverback."
At the time of Rafiki’s death, the Nkuringo gorilla group had 17 members

A triangle of vulnerability for illicit trafficking is emerging as a key geographic space along Africa’s eastern seaboard – the Swahili coast. At one apex of this triangle is Zanzibar, a major hub for illicit trade for decades, but one that is currently assuming greater importance. Further south, another apex is northern Mozambique. This area is experiencing significant conflict and instability, and is increasingly a key through route for the illicit trafficking of heroin into the continent and wildlife products from the interior. The final apex of the triangle is out to sea: the Comoros islands, lying 290 kilometres offshore from northern Mozambique and north-east of Madagascar. Comoros is not yet a major trafficking hub, but perennial political instability and its connections into the wider sub-regional trafficking economy make it uniquely vulnerable as illicit trade continues to evolve along the wider Swahili coastal region. These three apexes are linked by illicit economies and trade routes which take little heed of modern political boundaries.
some blue states are opening as slowly as possible, dentists may be phase 2 or 3. with everything closed, they aren't getting tax money from tourists or daily mundane purchases. most are operating in a deficit since trump cut funding to sanctuary states. without a bail out, the states are losing a game of chicken. expect wildfires all along the west coast for fema funds soon.
https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-forecasts/heavy-rain-to-worsen-ongoing-flooding-in-western-canada/757442
Widespread rainfall totals of 50-100 mm (2-4 inches) are forecast across the region through Tuesday. An AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 150 mm (6 inches) is expected along the eastern slopes of the Rockies.
The heaviest rain is anticipated to fall into Monday.
Smaller streams and rivers can quickly fill with water and rise out of their banks as the rain falls into early this week. With soil already saturated in many areas, flooding may occur more rapidly than normal.
This rain, combined with snowmelt, can also lead to flooding along the larger rivers across the region. River flooding like this can persist for days, and even weeks, after the rain has ended.
Heavy rain this spring has also caused problems with planting across the region. According to a report from CTV News, farmers are struggling to get summer crops in the ground. Oversaturated soil has made it impossible to plant crops due to fears of equipment getting stuck in the muddy soil.
This next round of rain will further worsen the problem and could contribute to some crops failing to grow as fields remain waterlogged.

Incidentally, Garibaldi wasn't the only red-haired Italian associated with this process of unification. The revolutionary poet Ugo Foscolo was also a redhead. After his death in 1827 he became something of a symbolic figure for the movement. He died and was buried in London, where he spent the last decade or so of his life. In 1871 his remains were then brought to Florence where they were finally laid to rest at the church of Santa Croce, alongside some of Italy's other famous sons, including Machiavelli, Michelangelo and that other famous redhead Galileo Galilei. In fact, Garibaldi's conflict with Rome in many ways brings us back full circle to Galileo's conflict with Rome. It's hard not to come to the conclusion that redheads are just born trouble makers
