(yt vid) Joe Biden addressing Chatham House in 2018
I girded my loins and watched the 2018 talk Joe Biden gave to the Chatham House in 2018 (embed if ya really feel like it, kek)
At this point he hadn't declared his run, and in general it is a fairly diplomatic snorefest (just veiled snide remarks about the current administration occasionally).
He also seemed fairly all there mentally at that point.
Anyway, just so I can justify to myself having watched this, I only found two points of interest.
At 1:03:30 he mentioned he took the "office for violence against women" into Whitehouse "which d formerly in the DOJ", which I thought was a bit spoopy given what we know now.
And if anyone wanted to be really mean, about 0:47:00 he does have a great quote that he has "no idea how to fix things back home" or similar, kek. That got a laugh from three ~~patri~~ people in the audience.
