Wife anon is a Vet Tech, surgery dept. at the largest emergency hospital in our city. Protocols were put in place over two months ago and yes, they are brutal. Gown, gloves, masks required outside (over 100 degrees for over 3 weeks now and getting hotter). Has to take and record her own temp upon arrival to work and at departure. Lifting 70 lb. animals all day has taken a toll. All employees required to wear masks, no exceptions. No clients in the building, no exceptions. Already advised, will be required to take vaccine when it becomes available. Wife anon been there 23 years, will most likely lose her job and most likely won't get hired anywhere else due to age and salary requirements. They are extremely short staffed as several techs and doctors have quit. Working 14 hour days. Thankful she is still working, but….
