TROLL KING - exposes hoax

‘Logic of an Infant’: Netizens Mock Trump Over Remarks That Less COVID-19 Tests Mean Fewer US Cases

Twitter users were quick to point out US President Donald Trump’s flawed logic after he claimed during a roundtable discussion Monday that if the US stopped testing for COVID-19, there would be “very few cases, if any.”

Although the Monday commentary was not the first time Trump made such remarks regarding COVID-19 testing, it was his most recent reiteration of the notion. The questionable stance came moments after Trump held a roundtable discussion on America’s senior citizens.

“If we stop testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any,” Trump is reported as saying by White House reporters present at the cabinet meeting.

Some users highlighted the ridiculousness of the president’s claim by drawing parallel statements.

“If we stopped investigating murders, there would be very few cases of murder in the United States,” one user pointed out.

“If women don't get pregnancy tests than [sic] they won't be pregnant,” another user noted.

“Okay, so the cure for cancer = stop testing,” a user wrote along with an eyeroll emoji.

Despite the fact that the US has the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the world, Trump has continued to praise the country’s response to the pandemic.

In early May, Trump called his administration’s response to the US outbreak “maybe [its] best work.”

“You know, I’ve built the greatest economy, and then it was turned off for good reason. We saved millions of lives by doing it. I think people are going to remember that,” he added at the time, Politico reported.

Not only were the first round of COVID-19 testing kits made in the US contaminated, which contributed to delays in widespread testing for the virus across the US, but there was also a major shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for US health care workers.

The PPE shortage ended up endangering the lives of many such workers, especially in states hit hard by the pandemic during its onset in the US, such as New York, New Jersey, California and Michigan, even though the country had months to prepare for the crisis, which first broke out in China.

In late April, the National Nurses United (NNU) held a protest in front of the White House to speak publicly about the lack of PPE during the pandemic. Earlier that month, workers took to Twitter to express their frustration over N95 mask shortages across the US with the hashtag “#GetMePPE.”

Why the Obama intelligence assessment on Russia collusion is under investigation

John Durham, the special prosecutor, is examining the Intelligence Community Assessment as evidence that conflicts with one of its key conclusions keeps mounting.

A recently declassified annex to the Obama administration’s intelligence report on Russian election interference took great pains to make clear it did not use Christopher Steele’s deeply flawed dossier to make any assessments about Moscow’s intentions.

The Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) found Steele’s evidence “highly politically sensitive” and minimally corroborated and thus not worthy of including in its analysis of Russian election interference, the annex stated.

“We have only limited corroboration of the source reporting in this case and did not use it to reach the analytic conclusions of the CIA/FBI/NSA assessment,” the memo added.

https://justthenews.com/sites/default/files/2020-06/ICA-AnnexA.pdf

In retrospect, the exclusion of the Steele dossier in assessing Russian intentions may have been a consequential mistake, since evidence emerged just two weeks after the assessment was made public in early January 2017 that directly conflicted with one of the ICA’s key conclusions.

The outgoing Obama administration’s intelligence community leaders — FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, NSA Director Mike Rogers and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper — declared on July 5, 2017 that Moscow was specifically trying to help Donald Trump win the 2016 election and to defeat Hillary Clinton.

An official with direct knowledge told Just the News that U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor named by Attorney General William Barr to investigate the investigators in the Russia collusion case, is currently reviewing the conduct of officials in the ICA and their subsequent testimony to Congress.

The official said that not all intelligence community analysts felt comfortable with the conclusion about Russia’s intent to help Trump. “There was some dissent and concern that has been hidden all this time,” the official said, speaking only on condition of anonymity.

One reason for that dissent may have emerged just two weeks later. Recently declassified footnotes from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report reveal U.S intelligence provided multiple warnings that some of Steele’s dossier was Russian disinformation fed by Moscow’s intelligence service.

Footnote 350, for instance, revealed that the FBI received a U.S. intelligence report on Jan. 12, 2017 warning of an inaccuracy in the dossier related to Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, and warning that the material was “part of a Russian disinformation campaign to denigrate U.S. foreign relations.”

That same day, the FISA warrant against Trump adviser Carter Page was renewed for the first time.

Trump: US Will Reduce Troop Presence in Germany by Half Until Berlin Covers NATO Bill

Citing Berlin's alleged delinquency "in their payments to NATO," US President Donald Trump declared on Monday that Washington will reduce its military presence in Germany by more than half.

Following a roundtable on "Fighting for America's Seniors," the US president announced that the US troop deployment in Germany would decrease to 25,000 troops, according to Reuters.

“Germany as you know is…delinquent in their payments to NATO,” Trump argued on June 15, claiming Germany owes NATO billions of dollars. "Why should we be doing what we’re doing if they don’t pay?”

CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale noted that the so-called debt refers to the NATO target which urges every member to spend "2% of [its] GDP on defense."

Furthermore, the NATO target agreement has a 2024 deadline.

German Ambassador to the US Emily Haber confirmed on Monday that the Pentagon has received orders to carry out the planned reduction of US troops in Germany, according to Reuters.

This followed the issuance of a letter to Trump from 22 Republican members of the House Armed Services Committee who opposed such a move.

“The threats posed by Russia have not lessened, and we believe that signs of a weakened U.S. commitment to NATO will encourage further Russian aggression and opportunism,” Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-TX) said in the lawmakers' open letter to the US president.

NYC Mayor Orders Army Of COVID-19 Contact-Tracers Not To Ask About BLM Protests Attendance

As the debate about the importance of contact tracing rages on amid a spike in new cases and hospitalizations in certain states, the City reported last night that although NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and NY Gov Andrew Cuomo have repeatedly warned about the risks of the anti-police brutality protests reigniting the coronavirus outbreak (so far, that doesn't appear to be the case - at least, not in NYC), NYC's army of contact tracers has been instructed not to ask subjects whether they attended the demonstrations.

That's right: On orders from City Hall, de Blasio's army of contact tracers - whose sole job is to figure where sick patients might have been infected, and whom they might have accidentally infected in turn infected - will be instructed to willfully ignore an obvious source of new infections in order to continue pandering to perpetually outraged leftists.

The hundreds of contact tracing workers hired by the city under de Blasio’s new “test and trace” campaign have been instructed not to ask anyone who’s tested positive for COVID-19 whether they recently attended a demonstration, City Hall confirmed to THE CITY.

"No person will be asked proactively if they attended a protest," Avery Cohen, a spokesperson for de Blasio, wrote in an emailed response to questions by THE CITY.

Instead, test-and-trace workers ask COVID-positive individuals general questions to help them "recall 'contacts' and individuals they may have exposed," Cohen said. Among the initial questions: "Do you live with anyone in your home?"

Tracers then ask about “close contacts” — defined as being within six feet of another person for at least 10 minutes.

‘They Pulled Out Guns and Put Them to My F*cking Head’ – CHAZ Militants Threaten Uber Driver Waiting For Pickup Outside Autonomous Zone

Armed militants guarding the “CHAZ,” [Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone] a six square block ‘police free’ zone in Seattle hijacked by BLM and Antifa terrorists, threatened an Uber driver who was simply waiting for a pickup outside of the autonomous zone.

This is what the far-left Seattle mayor calls a ‘summer of love with potlucks and drum circles.’

The Uber driver told two reporters how the armed guards at the “CHAZ” pulled out guns and threatened him while he was waiting for a pickup outside of the “autonomous zone.”

“They [CHAZ border guards] both pulled out guns and put them to my f*cking head,” the Uber driver said.

The armed terrorists told the Uber driver “just get the f*ck out of here.”

Note: On Monday, Antifa domestic terrorists changed “CHAZ” to “Capitol Hill Organized Protest or “CHOP.”

Trump calls Bolton's memoir 'highly inappropriate' as WH readies legal action to stop publication

President Trump called it “highly inappropriate” for his former national security adviser John Bolton to write a memoir about his time in the White House – saying it contained classified information and hinting that Bolton might have lied in the book.

The president’s comments, at a roundtable event at the White House on Monday, followed reports that the Trump administration was expected to take legal action to stop the publication of Bolton’s book.

“Maybe he’s not telling the truth, he’s been known not to tell the truth, a lot,” Trump said Monday.

Sources told Fox News earlier Monday that the White House is expected to make a court filing soon out of the Justice Department to try preventing the publication of Bolton’s memoir slated to be released on June 23, “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir.”

The White House has long contended that a manuscript of Bolton’s memoir contained classified information, but that the way the material was woven into the narrative would make a traditional “scrub” impossible.

Sources told Fox News the classified information was “part and parcel” of the entire storyline.

The memoir is expected to claim that Trump’s “transgressions” went well beyond the Ukraine saga that led to his impeachment and alleged that “reelection calculations” drove the president’s major decisions, according to a press release for the book.

“This is the book Donald Trump doesn’t want you to read,” the release stated.

“Drawn from his personal participation in key events, and filled with perspective and humor, Bolton covers an array of topics—chaos in the White House, sure, but also assessments of major players, the president’s inconsistent, scattershot decision-making process, and his dealings with allies and enemies alike, from China, Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, Iran, the UK, France and Germany,” the book's publisher said in a statement.

Bolton’s lawyer said last week the publication of the memoir will go ahead as planned on June 23 and he accused the White House of unfairly trying to keep it on ice.

The lawyer, Charles Cooper, wrote in The Wall Street Journal that the White House lawyers have slow-walked the process because “President Trump simply doesn’t want John Bolton to publish his book.”

“This is a transparent attempt to use national security as a pretext to censor Mr. Bolton, in violation of his constitutional right to speak on matters of the utmost public import,” Cooper continued. “This attempt will not succeed, and Mr. Bolton’s book will be published June 23.”

Democrats Slam GOP Police Reform Bill Before Laying Eyes On It

Senate Republicans have yet to release a promised set of reforms for America's police departments, but that has not stopped top Senate Democrats from waging preemptive war on their colleagues' forthcoming bill.

Leading Senate Democrats, including minority leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) and top vice-presidential contender Kamala Harris (Calif.), have blasted Republicans' still nascent proposal—which is expected to include restrictions on chokeholds, a national database of police use of force, and the labeling of lynching as a hate crime—as "cherry-picking" and "far from being relevant."

All those measures appear in House Democrats' own policing bill, but Senate Democrats suggest that the GOP bill is not up to the moment. Those criticisms come even as the bill's contents remain in flux—the ban on chokeholds was added just days after Sen. Tim Scott (R., S.C.), who is overseeing the bill's drafting, said such a ban could not "get to the finish line."

These criticisms lay the groundwork for Schumer's caucus to reject out of the gate a counterproposal to House Democrats' sweeping package, forestalling widely popular efforts at legislative reform.

The preemptive critiques also indicate the tenuous political position Democrats find themselves in, as a vocal minority on their left flank agitates for the full defunding or abolition of America's police departments. Although these proposals are unpopular, their sway within some sectors of the progressive base may inform Democrats' caution about appearing too conciliatory on reform.

"It's sad that Senate Democrats' extreme partisanship means they're attacking a policing reform bill before they even read it," one Senate GOP aide told the Washington Free Beacon.

The Republican proposal is currently in development under the guidance of Scott, one of only three black members of the Senate. That role has earned Scott his fair share of racial invective from the left, against which he pushed back in an impassioned tweet, writing "you DON'T want the person who has faced racial profiling by police, been pulled over dozens of times, or been speaking out for YEARS drafting this?" Scott's office did not return a request for comment for this article.

Mayor de Blasio calls in sick day after marching in mass protests but refuses COVID-19 test — despite symptoms and telling NYers to get tested

Hypocrisy on stilts

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio loves to tell New Yorkers what to do while refusing to follow his own directives.

Remember when he announced the closure of gyms in New York and hit the gym on his way to City Hall on the same day?

Or when he and his wife were out for a stroll in Prospect Park — more than 10 miles from their home — when Gothamites were being told to stay near their homes?

What about his orders forbidding New Yorkers from holding large gatherings that he somehow forgot about when it was time for the George Floyd protests?

When it comes to hypocrisy, the Big Apple has learned that there's no one better at it than de Blasio.

His newest — and perhaps biggest — offense came Monday.

Hizzoner — who has repeatedly told New York residents to get tested for the coronavirus (even if they don't have symptoms) and in fact made free testing available to anyone — took a sick day Monday after marching with thousands of protesters on Sunday. And he is still refusing to get tested for the coronavirus, the New York Daily News said.

"The mayor woke up under the weather. He's taking the day to recuperate and we should be back to normal programming tomorrow," spokeswoman Freddi Goldstein told the paper. "We don't believe it's COVID-related."

Gothamist reported that the office said de Blasio was suffering "gastrointestinal symptoms."

According to the Daily News, the mayor had no intention of getting a coronavirus test — and that he hasn't had one since the beginning of the pandemic.

Why no tests for the mayor Monday?

Goldstein said, "Based on what he is experiencing, the mayor does not believe there's a need to be tested," Gothamist reported.

NFL player who told Drew Brees to 'shut the f*** up' about anthem kneeling hired as CNN contributor

After Malcolm Jenkins publicly ripped Brees, the quarterback bowed, issued several apologies

New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins — a social justice leader in the NFL — has been hired by CNN as a contributor, PhillyVoice reported.

What else is Jenkins' known for?

Jenkins made some different headlines early this month after publicly blasting teammate and exceedingly philanthropic quarterback Drew Brees, who made the mistake of saying that while he stands with players "fighting for racial equality and justice," he will "never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America" by kneeling during the national anthem.

Brees' comments came amid the George Floyd protests and rioting, which likely rubbed some the wrong way.

Count Jenkins among them, who responded by telling Brees "sometimes you should shut the f*** up."

"Our communities are under siege, and we need help," Jenkins noted on social media. "And what you're telling us is don't ask for help that way. Ask for it a different way. I can't listen to it when you ask that way. We're done talking, Drew. And people who share your sentiments, who express those and push them throughout the world, the airwaves, are the problem."

Jenkins also said, "[I]t's unfortunate because I considered you a friend. I looked up to you. You're somebody who I had a great deal of respect for."

The past tense of Jenkins' latter comments indicates his sentiments are no more — which should make it interesting in the Superdome locker room this fall.

What are the details of Jenkins' CNN gig?

"Now more than ever, the public needs to be educated on the roles of elected positions of power, such as the District Attorney, Police Chief or City Council and how to hold those individuals accountable, especially through their voice and their vote," Jenkins said in a statement to Variety, according to PhillyVoice. "In an important election year, I'm eager to join the CNN family and share my perspective as a regular contributor. I also want to thank CNN for their thoughtful leadership in viewing professional athletes beyond their sport as another educated voice who brings a varied perspective and value to the network's programming and shows."

Iran warns IAEA against taking Israeli intelligence report about Tehran violating nuke deal at face value

Tehran called on the international nuclear watchdog to maintain neutrality and refrain from “unconstructive” decisions based on a biased Israeli intelligence report that claims Iran may be violating its international nuclear deal.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) met on Monday to discuss a report alleging that Tehran is violating the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action by continuing to enrich uranium beyond the agreed level. Iran claims that the data was supplied by Mossad.

Should the IAEA Board of Governors be taken in by “Israeli fabrications” underlying a recent report that claimed Iran was violating the terms of the 2015 nuclear deal, it would “complicate Iran’s cooperation with the agency,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said during a press briefing on Monday as reported by Tasnim, hinting at a “proportionate reaction.”

They can probably guess what Iran’s reaction will be.

Mousavi called on the IAEA to maintain neutrality instead of acting on “allegations made by the Zionist regime,” citing Israel’s long history of producing unsubstantiated claims about Iran’s nuclear activities and warning the agency against issuing any resolution against Iran in reaction to the report.

The report claimed Iran has “for months blocked inspections at two sites where nuclear activity may have occurred in the past,” continued to build up its uranium stockpile, and upped enrichment levels past the limits set out by the JCPOA nuclear deal. Israel demanded “paralyzing sanctions” be levied on the country in response.

However, Iran only began exceeding the terms of the JCPOA a year after the US unilaterally pulled out and reimposed crippling sanctions in 2018 despite what was at the time full compliance from Iran, and the other signatories have refused to cross the US in order to hold up their ends of the deal.

Iran has rejected all allegations of non-compliance with the IAEA, and Mousavi on Monday called on the agency to base its actions on legal facts rather than the claims of obviously-biased international actors.

eBay execs mailed bloody mask & LIVE INSECTS to couple who criticized company

Six former eBay employees and executives have been charged with stalking after they hounded a couple who criticized the e-commerce giant in a newsletter. The group mailed threats to the pair, and sent them live cockroaches.

The victims, a Massachusetts couple, published an online newsletter “critical of eBay and other e-commerce companies,” US Attorney Andrew Lelling explained at a press conference on Monday.

Their missive put them on the radar of eBay’s Global Intelligence Center, and a harassment campaign began, Lelling continued.

The campaign’s alleged ringleaders were the company’s director of safety and security, its director of global resiliency, three members of its Global Intelligence Center, and its former manager of special operations.

Why exactly an e-commerce firm has a “manager of special operations,” was left unexplained, but Lelling said the team set out to “destroy the lives” of the Massachusetts couple. They sent anonymous messages and traveled to Massachusetts to conduct “covert surveillance” on the writers.

Then the deliveries started. The couple received a bloody pig mask, a bereavement wreath, boxes of live cockroaches, fly larvae and spiders and a pig fetus, which Lelling said wasn’t delivered due to an inquiry from the supplier. The suspects also allegedly mailed pornography to the couple’s neighbors, in the pair’s name.

The eBay team went as far as posting a classified ad on Craigslist, urging “singles, couples and swingers” to knock on their door to party, “anytime day or night.”
