My wife is one of those who talks to the wild animals

Even though we live in a big city

But there are some large parks near us

With tracts of forest

And every time we go walking

She speaks to the spirit of the forest

And she sees wild animals

Most of the time

When I look where she is pointing

They are gone

But her descriptions of them

Match what I know of local North American wildlife

Of which she knows nothing,

Because she comes from Siberia

Even her white ancestry

Is aboriginal

The animals come to her in dreams

And in reality

With messages about RENEWAL

Change that we can actually believe in

New paths opening before us

And a better life in harmony

Now all we have to do is to RE-IMAGINE our futures

#UnitedNotDivided

Because #PeaceIsThePrize

We could fix the UN first…

The Council in Wonderland

A far better reform would be to abolish the Security Council and along with it the General Assembly, the Human Rights Council, and all the other voting bodies of the UN. Some critics complain that the UN is a “talk shop.” But that is exactly what it should be.

why not turn the whole organization into a website? Each member state could have its own blog. The effusions of the likes Castro and Qaddafy might make Lewis Carroll seem pale in imagination and humor.
