This would have been much more satisfying to watch if the NHTSA didn't completely ruin chassis design.
Seriously, the NHTSA needs to be abolished so people who do this can meet a shin-level steel bumper instead of some flat polypropylene shit.
Now that's real safety and not bureaucrat "safety".
But there really needs to be a breakaway category of cars for people who know how to drive and don't need that Demolition Man shit.
I can't imagine paying over $20,000 for something with "crumple zones". One little tap and it's off to the junkyard.
Now that's some nice steel.
On one hand, a nice solid chassis can backfire on you when the speed is very high and you take the force of the impact. On the other, I'm willing to take that chance to not have a 15mph collision turn into a brand new series of payments.
And you can't even really steer them out of danger anymore because of traction control. Today's cars handle like pic related. Automobiles are just about the best representative of what the NWO has successfully taken away from us. I bet the main reason they started requiring EGRs was to make sure that the intake and exhaust manifold were connected by metals that would definitely weld to each other over time.
It would be really convenient if things were as simple as some of the extremely vocal posters seem to think they are.
I guess trying to fold the board back into /pol/ is the latest desperate tactic.
It was 800k a few days ago. This is really something.
