Great interview here from 2012 with Thomas Sowell. Young anons listen up, he is hugely smart, and an ardent critic of intellectualism. We are seeing what happens when society worships science and intellectual people in particular. Have a listen to the warnings he was giving in 2012 about the pollution of young minds with the college echo chambers.

If you don't want to listen to him rail on Obama, listen to his summary at about 50:40:

interviewer asks Thomas Sowell if he has a 2012 candidate, then if there is anything that gives him hope in the Western world:

"If i thought the voters had some sense of realism, or they were concerned with the larger questions rather than whose ex-wife said what, and so on. Or what Governor Romney did or did not do when he was head of Bain Capital. If they had some sense of the loss of freedom, which is infinitely more important than any of the specific issues by themselves โ€“ that is, Obamacare, really is a huge step toward the loss of freedom. It happens in small ways, but constantly: we can't have the lightbulbs that we want in our own home; we can't flush the toilet with the kind of toilet we want; we can't take a shower with the kind of shower head we want; we can't put our garbage out except broken down by the way some little Gauleiters have decided we ought to do it. It's just the accretion of these things, many of which are too small to be significant in themselves, but in the aggregate you can see the tendency of this: the people who think they know better and ought to be telling us what to do. Those people are the danger, and if you don't see that then I'm not sure what the future is going to be like."

I don't normally respond on the Joo shilling rebuttals, but I like what you said.

God chose the Jews because they were the least. They were the unlovable. They didn't even have the first birthright. His grace alone is what makes them chosen, so that any success they had in conquering the Canaanites would be God's alone. It is emblematic of our own sin nature before we accept Christ. We have no qualities of our own to boast of, and are so racked with sin that it is purely our faith in His grace through the Son, that makes us redeemable. So I look at the Jewish 'journey' in a way as symbolic of our own. The fact that Jews are still hated by the world is both continuing fulfillment of prophecy, and a badge of honor in many ways. Those frothing at the mouth seeing a Jew behind every plot are going to be the same ones calling future Christians out for not taking the mark. They are just noise.

100% this ^^^.

Who slays the giant? The least of the sons.

Who becomes the first earthly king? The least of the sons.

Who ends up in Pharaohs house during the 7 year famine? The least of the sons.

Who does God manifest himself as? A carpenter's son, with a lineage full of broken birthrights, prostitutes, etc.

The Jews have a remnant. All the zionism and bullshit aside, God always saves a remnant. We know what happens next, and nothing can stop it. The intensity of Joooooo shillery is its own joke, because the louder it gets, the closer the time comes to victory.

Shill on, fags

Yep, there's a lot in there that doesn't leap out without the proper context, and a lot more that would leap out if we knew Hebrew. Another example is the constant repetition of animal sacrifice and blood, being the atonement for sin in the age before Grace. So when Christ came, and the age OF grace was upon them, they should have recognized it. HE was the sacrifice, the blood, the one thing that could cover their sin eternally. Just profound. BOOM.
