O7 Baker.
I don't get how people think he runs the whole country.
Maybe decades of confederate government has everyone conditioned to see things a certain way?
The first real federalist since, what, the last century? and everyone flips their lids.
Bizarre.
It's pretty weak though. Whidbey at least has some class.
I suspect this stuff happens all the time. It's how it's used and reported, and when, that matters. Just my opinion though.
Tricky trips anon.
I don't know how long, maybe since Lincoln? Kek, no, maybe since the mid 80's, just a slow legal erosion of state's rights?
99.999% didn't know about Whidbey though. But I see your point.
This could be their October surprise. Either they've got no sense of timing, or it's just the beginning. Besides, I don't think they'd like to set a real wartime president just before an election?
I think you missed the one about people having to see the truth for themselves.
People, particularly liberals, don't like being told things. It interferes with their sense of self righteousness.
How convenient to have your enemy identified for you, all tied up with a pretty six pointed bow too.
They can be exposed without words. I think they've been pretty extensively exposed for most of this year. They've seen unprecedented (in our lifetimes) lockdowns where they couldn't go to work, but they could go to the big chain stores. They've seen social distancing remain enforced while protests, and worse, are allowed.
They've seen a sizeable section of a city forceably occupied in the name of the liberal left.
I think a lot have seen the truth now. The important thing is that they see what that will bring them if they keep voting for it. All the other stuff will follow.
All I'm saying is, if there are problems in the world and someone is telling you "it's them", be very suspicious.
I'm pretty sure there will be traitorous Jews who will sell out their race/religion to perpetuate the stereotype so that you don't look at anything or anyone else, just like there will be traitorous Christians, Muslims or Amish.
People commit evil deeds for greed or weakness.
Believe what you will though, it'll all come out in the wash, I'm sure. Just make sure you're not being a "useful idiot" too.
Hmm, I think I'm some respects you could be right in that he is responsible for some of it, but to me it was very noticeable that the CV response he handed to Pence, and all the advice was coming from Birx and Fauci.
More than that, he made it very clear that each state was responsible for its own handling of the crisis, with all the federal support they needed, but they had to ask for it.
Similar with the riots, he urges the governors to sort things out.
Where to draw the line at protecting people's constitutional rights and the 10th amendment, must be a very difficult position to be in.
But if people can't see that the people they've been electing to represent them are useless, then I don't know what can be done.
