Regarding the HRC Superpredators Qpost,
I think I’ve fucking figured it out.
This bill was passed in 1994, almost certainly as a response to the 1992 riots. You remember those riots? When Police officers assaulted an unarmed Rodney King? And there happened to be a man standing on his balcony, filming it? It got national news coverage and enraged the Black Communities to Riot in Los Angeles? Massive looting and Gang Violence among other awful things ensued?
Rodney King survived and became a national icon. He wrote a best selling book, and then was found dead in his Swimming Pool, “Accidental Drowning”.
I guess George Floyd might’ve been screwed either way.
My point is, this exact scenario has happened before.
The administration responded with absolute racism and offensive tactics against the black communities.
Where was the outcry? Who spoke out for the black communities? Why was it okay for Hillary to do racist things, but it wasn’t okay for Trump to not do racist things?
