Most people I know are just annoyed by it. Places of employ are terrified that if someone dies "with covid" and there is reason to believe they got it from their business, that lawyers will sue the shit out of them.
Which is a valid concern. The problem is that courts aren't about reality. The CDC has laid out guidelines and if you aren't following them, you're a target for lawsuits. It doesn't matter if the cdc's guidelines are completely fabricated, based in reality, or actually harmful to people - that is not up to us peasants to decide for ourselves in any capacity as far as courts are concerned.
No one can afford, currently, to quit their job and trying to get an organized group together to threaten to strike or something if we continue to be put in masks is rather difficult, since it's a minor inconvenience and is hard to get people to see the end game.
They are talking about requiring vaccinations, and that will be a red line for me. I'll create a shit ton of noise over that.
