The pix in the post below (of spider webs) is a different place and was uploaded to Insta on May 28, 2013. I'm thinking the location below is in Syria.

The Syrian war is about two planned pipelines that were to run through Syria to the coast. One pipeline to run from Iran through Nth Iraq n Syria - the other pipeline to run from SA through to the Syrian coast. And let's not forget about Israel fighting for the Golan Heights, cuz yannow, major oil deposit.

Has anyone found the exact location in Azaz tho? I once tracked someone down using google maps and photos with different landmarks in the background. It took a long time but we got it.
Azaz is a big town and would take forever to find the exact location. *sigh
Yea similar but older and yes, diff entrance. The airbase isn't far from Azaz on the map and the colors of the buildings are the same as the headquarters.

So the meeting went for 45mins and the meeting room was less than a mile over the border into Syria. Given those details, the 'meeting room' was probably at the Bab al-salam refugee camp. Which there must be a permanent building located there and not just tents. Some kind of administration building perhaps?
Looks like I'll have to do a virtual tour of the area on google maps cuz it's not showing up on the maps search. *groan this could take some time.

The clues I got from the vic is McC was only in Syria for a meeting that lasted about 45mins and the 'meeting room' was located within 1 mile of the Syrian border. So I'm thinking there has to be a permanent building located at the Bab al-salam refugee camp, or very near it. >>694708

I just had a look at the map and I'm pretty sure that blue square on the border is the Bab al-salam refugee camp. I had a closer look and I think that's where McC had the meeting.
Have a look at the structure on the right of the border crossing pic, the bricks are the same color as the place he had the meeting. It's in the right location when you listen to the interview as well.

That looks like a border checking point so I'm thinking there must be some kind of reception attached and also considering the car park.
It's def in the right location though and unfortunately google maps doesn't zoom in any closer. :/
