There is a paradigm of study that not only individual consciousness evolves, but the collective average consciousness also evolves…likely correlated with socioeconomic means, etc. The modern complexity of the tools used in the MKultra program are powerful, and to a young mind are certainly superior to ancient methods of mindfucking. But how much? Perhaps the tools needed in the past for lower consciousnesses, on average, didn't need so much sophistication. On the other hand, what is so sophisticated now that didn't exist then? Lie, cheat, steal? false testimony? murder?
