This image is worth any hundred speeches she may give at humanizing her brand. Fair or not her challenge is developing a sense of the common touch.
A few notable events such as this spread out over time, helps build trust and acceptance. Once that is established, people will pay more attention to her speeches and initiatives. She becomes more effective.
Bow to rule.
She doesn't have to become a full-time crack den social worker, as the English royals seem to think is their only path to keeping their dilapidated houses. They've really surrendered any dignity or leadership separation they may have possessed at this point. They're neutralized and ineffective. I'm glad.
But with Ivanka's recent lettuce factory visit and events and images such as this one, she really has shifted her perceived persona away from a cloistered 10021/2 indifference that average people might assume and in a very short period of time.
Female leaders and executives bear a burden from social bias that they can't smile or laugh too much or they're assumed to be idiots, but if they don't smile enough they are easily framed as ice queens.
It isn't fair, but it's how it is.
In really short order though Ivanka seems to have moved herself away from the latter and is finding a rather nice balancing point.
