There seems to be a lot of variation of mask/distance requirements even in the same shopping center (report from a blue state).
I went to Walmart yesterday. The employees wear masks, but the shoppers don't have to. I tried to go to Best Buy. They are barring the entrance and asking customers to tell them specifically what they want to buy and they would bring it out. They also said customers can make an appointment to enter the store, but entrance is very limited with a mask. I would have had to wait 4 hours to enter Best Buy. Supermarkets have no entrance restrictions, no mask demands, but enforced distancing at the cash registers.
