like anon mentioned, a keto diet (no/low carb) will change your body's primary energy source from carbs to fat. your body will burn fat, even without exercise. combine that with intermittent fasting and some form of movement (exercise) will increase your results.

alcohol causes your fat-burning mechanism (krebs cycle) to shut down the moment you take a drink. your body will prefer the empty calories of alcohol over anything else. so stop the boozing.
