Last Monday, I had gained two stone, one stone (14 pounds) of that in lockdown. That's 88kg or nearly 14 stone.

Today I weigh 81.5kg or nearly 13 stone.

In those 9 days I have walked (not run) 134km or over miles or more than three maratons.

I hate exercise too but it needed to be done.

Mind over matter. If a 45 year old can do that, so can you.

Today was the best day. It's 5:15pm here and I've walked over 23 km, over 14 miles, spead out over the day since 7am. No walk was more than an hour or so and I started with half an hour walk twice a day last Tuesday.

You can do it anon.

Or just only eat the equivalent of the calories you walk each day. Then you burn around 2200 calories a day. That's more than half a pound a day.

If you try this, make sure half the calories you eat come from protein powder. The weight loss will slow, not because you aren't burning the fat off but because muscles will increase as you get properly nice and cut underneath the fat you're replacing.
