Brooks was shot while running away from the officers. He was shot in the back twice.

"Excited evidence" was given and considered highly reliable, i.e, the statement "I got him."

Rolfe was also firing a taser at Brooks while he was running away??

Conclusion: Rolfe's actions were excessive. He was fired. Rolfe was aware that the taser in Brooks possession had already been fired twice, and it didn't pose a threat.

The other officer has become a State's witness and will make a statement in a few days, but he's not psychologically ready to make that statement today.

Garrett Rolfe (11 total charges) WOW!

Charges: Felony Murder (Life or Death sentence)

2 counts: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (20 years)

Thing about evidence is it can be manufactured, manipulated, and made to disapear on both sides of the courtroom. Whatever happened to "probable cause" in these cases? Why aren't prosecutors bringing these cases with what they have on underlings? Why always go for the big target? Why can't arrests be made on circumstantial evidence? Why is the question about "proving" everything so critical for us to understand?
