I work with manakins (for some reason we dont call them manaquins). They blink, talk, bleed (but only at specific points for IV stick simulation). Even though the suspension of disbelief is paramount to a good simulation, no one would ever confuse sim-man with a real person (we use real people for that).
All that being said, I have no doubt with enough technology and $$$$ it would be possible to fake out a lot of people.
