I've had my suspicions that the Manhattan Project is a focal point of this entire debacle that nobody seems to be bringing up. I tried looking into it, but it's like staring into a black abyss. Just empty. Totally out of the public view. All I was able to find was some BS about Oak Ridge and a few pictures that made it out to be a bit of a summer camp.
