Is there any situation when a law enforcement officer IS NOT allowed to fire his gun? Do we just let them shoot anyone, anytime, no matter the circumstances? We are supposed to just take their word for how they justify their gun shooting? Do they even worry or care if they miss? Is there such a thing as trigger discipline in the law enforcement community?

Do they even worry or care if they miss?

It's weird that I see people justifying police shooting because the adrenaline is flowing and there is danger everywhere and the criminal is escaping etc…

Seems like with all that adrenaline flowing a steady handed shot in the dark is impossible.

I'm not saying the cops are wrong… it just seems like trigger discipline is the last thing on their mind. When I'm shooting, my first thought is not what happens if I hit the target, but what happens if I miss.
