i was thinking he was a putin backchannel when q said backchannels are important.
in this complex game anyones guess, but hoping bolton is a plan for potus to:
1- see how they compromise people (catch) as in the 2 million book deal
2- what they expect for a 2 million dollar and how they corrupt the process
3- how they coordinate leaks at key times and what they want bolton to do/act for his 2 million.
4- if bolton is running a sting that would be nice, they do not just throw 2 million at anyone and thats likely a means of quid pro quo, expeciallly if they have evidence of asking bolton to commit crimes and falsely smear potus, that would be the 'libel' whereby they pay him to defame!
