There are a lot of people in their 60s who can't discern reality. More sad, the ones that can't will likely be stuck in that state permanently. These are the "vote blue no matter who" types, who think that Hillary Clinton is a loving grandmother and Joe Biden is "just a little hand-sy." Brainwashed over an entire lifetime and too stubborn to change.
Most older people I know fall into this category. They may never wake up, it's sad to think about.

This is how I feel about my mom as well. She's always been a liberal, but nowadays something's just… off. Like the drugs she takes or the vaccinations she's gotten have erased a part of her brain. I don't know if she'll ever get it back, I certainly hope so.
